WELLINGTON RACE MEETING. CONCLUDING DAY. TRENTHAM, This Day. The concluding day of the Wellington Racing Club's winter meeting is favoured with fine weather and a large attendance. The going, though -still somewhat heavy, is much better than on the first and second days. Results: Talavera Hurdles, of 300 sovs; one mile and a half. —Many Colours, 11.2, 1; Glenidle, 11.0, 2; Haligan, 9.2, General Carrington was scratched. Won by two lengths, with half a length between second and third. Time—3min 7isec. Novice Handicap, of 200 sovs; six furlongs.—Captain Wai, 9.5, 1; Town Crier, 10.3, 2; Kilmiss, 9.0, 3. All started. Won by a length; two lengths between second and third. Time —lmin 25Jsec.
Winter Hurdles, of 1000 sovs; two miles and a quarter. —Lucullent, 9.2, 1; Comical, 11.7, 2; Penury Rose, 9.0, 3. Maunga, Wench, Peter Amans, Bonibrook, Dick, All Wind, Otauru Kid and Tenterfield were scratched. Won by half a length; three lengths between second and third. Time—4min 59see. Crofton Handicap, of 200 sovs; seven furlongs.—Blue Peter, 9.7, 1; Gardant, 9.4, 2; Adi Vunivola, 9.6, 3. Rowley, Olympic and Uleaborg were scratched. Won by three-quarters of a length. Time—lmin 45sec. Winter Oats Handicap, of 400 sovs; mile. —Alaric, 10.8, 1; Passionate, 9.12, 2; Arch Salute, 10.2, 3. Lucius wa3 scratched. Won by a nose; three lengths between second and third.
