(To the Editor.) • Sir, —In offering thanks to our numerous friends for their help during the jpast year, we can help as we are helped. All donations of money, etc., are disbursed with strict economy. By reason of the continued spell of rough weather, with ,an increase in the cost of living and so much unemployment, it is almost impossible for mothers with large families., to get tlie necessary comforts. "We would esteem it a favour if our many friends would render us assistance during .the winter months. There are a number of deserving cases appealing to us for help. Donations of any description will be appreciated, namely, good secondhand clothing, fuel, bread, groceries, ment. monev, etc. —We are, etc. ADJUTANT & MES. CAMPION. Maunu Eoad, Phone 3/7.
