. 1 ALLIED LIMITATIONS. - ' 1 < THROTTLING INDUSTRY.' 5 ' i (Received 11 a.m.) /LONDON, July 8. - A statement published in thte Berlin newspapers, purporting to give the Chancellor's views regarding the new Allied restrictions on German aeronautics, says ..the restrictions are not concerned with military questions, but are solely dictated with the object of throttling German competition. Dr. Luther is reported to have said that the restrictions would not be accepted, because tliey sought to impose conditions not authorised by the Versailles Treaty. The Cabinet, therefore, would be free tp make what decision it pleased. —Times.
