IN MITIGATION
A COPIED REPORT, LIBEL ACTION POINT. (Received 11.20 a.m.) SYDNEY, July 7. In a libel action in which the alleged libel was copied by the defendant from another paper, the Judge, in awarding damages, ruled that the fact that the report had been copied from another paper could be considered in mitigation of damages.—A. and N.Z.
