First Line and Silent Dick were scratched. Won by ten: lengths. Time—smin 18 4-ssec. Poraite Hurdles, of 200 sovs; on<Jmile and three quarters.—Goldpiece I* Santiago 2, Askari 3. All started. Won by a length, and a half. Time —3mini 20 2-ssec. Newstead Hack Handicap, of 150 sovs; six furlongs.—Blue Jay 1, Mana" tai 2, Alabama 3. Jubilee and Olympic were scratched. Won by a head.
