REMARKABLE SELF-CURE
TWISTED NECK STRAIGHTENED
(Received 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 17.
The Central News Agency circulate a remarkable story regarding Sir Herbert Barker, the eminent bone-setter, who dived over-deeply at Alassio, in Italy, where he was on holiday, struck his head on the bottom and came up dazed with his neck twisted and immovable. No skilled help was available, so Sir Herbert Barker, despite intense pain, applied pressure with both hands and straightened his neck with an audible click. —A. and,N.Z.
