The Hon. J. 6. Coates, Prime Minis- ! ter, was due to arrive in the Kaipaia ! electorate today, where he will address i his constituents.
It is announced that Mr H. J. Sweenjy, of Rawene, will contest the Bay of Islands scat at the general election as the Country Party's candidate. Candidates previously announced arc Mr Allen Bell, the sitting member, Mr R. T. Wrathall, official LiberalLabour, and Mr R. E. Hornblow, Independent Liberal.
