FAREWELL AT HASTINGS
HASTINGS, This Day.
The Governor-General and Lady Jellicoe paid a farewell visit to Hastings to-day, when liis Excellency was presented with an illuminated valedictory address by the Mayor, and opportunity was taken for his Excellency to perform the ceremony of opening the Cornwall Park main entrance gates. Afterwards their Excellencies were entertained to luncheon by the Mayor. Later the Vice-regal party paid a farewell visit to Woodford House, Haveloek North, where the Hon. Myrtle and Hon. Nora Jellicoe have been at school.—Press Assn.
