CITY HOLDS ALOOF.

The City Council docs not propose to take part in the conference called by the Mount Eden Borough. Council to consider forming a Metropolitan Water Board -with a view to obtaining water from Lake Taupo or elsewhere on tlie Waikato Kiver. On the motion of the Mayor the Town Clerk was instructed to thank the Mount Eden Council for its invitation but to state that the City did not desire to be represented.
