TOWN HALL TO-NIGHT. Beware of that time in all our lives, when it seems for the moment that the devil drives! Hearts are bled by hate, souls are torn by hate, and love cast aside by the cruel work of the devil.
In "When the Devil Drives," the Associated Exhibitors feature starrhg Leah Baird at the Town tonight, is shown the influence of Satan over two women who love the same man, and the mental and physical torture endured by all enmeshed in the web of jealousy and misunderstanding, woven by the Devil, who is ever watchful for human playthings.
Leah Baird not only displays her well-known emotional powers, but her literary talent is manifested in the story of which she is the author. Paul Scardon directed. The splendid cast includes Richard Tucker, Vernon Steel, Arline Pretty and Ivatherine Lewis. 35
