SECONDARY SCHOOLS TOURNA- ... MENT. When seeking approval of the Board* of Governors of the Whangarei High School* last evening of the intended f isit of the School senior Eugby team to Auckland next week, the principal,. Mr A. B. Charters, said that he wished to institute an annual triangular competition between Mt. Albert Grammar School, Hamilton and Whangarei High Schools. He explained that it would f be similar to the long-standing Competitions between Wellington, Christ College, and Wanganui College. The team would be billeted out at the homes of their hosts of the Mt. Albert Grammar School. It was proposed that the team should leave Whangarei to-morrow week and return on the following Tuesday morning. During their stay in the city the members of the team would visit the Zoo. A concession had been obtained: from the Northern S.S. Company which had reduced the fares for the players to £1 return. General approval of the scheme of the triangular competitions to be played in the three centres in rotation was V expressed by members of the Board. f
