WHANGAREI PERSONNEL. The Whangarei senior representative team to journey to Dargaville on Saturday to meet the Northern Wairoa representatives in the contest for the Harding Shield will be as follows: — Full-back.—A. Ridings. Three-quarters.—C. Collins, J. Hamilton and R. Nelson. Five-eighths.—S. Crawford and E. Meyer. Half.—*R. Cunningham, Rover.—B. Finlayson. Forwards.—Back row, E. Emerson and A. Sowman; second row, Tote Finlayson, D. McLeod and Bunny Finlayson; hookers, M. Sheriff and F. O'Shea. Emergencies: (forwards) T. O'Shea and A. Dunn; (backs) A- MacKay. The team will leave Whangarei in special cars at 9 a.m. on Saturday. Both the senior and junior representative teams are requested to assemble at the Winter Show Buildings to-night at 7.30 sharp. Advice from Dargaville to-day states that, the Northern Wairoa team will be as follows: — Full-back.—Wade. Three-quarters.—Simonsen, Harding , and Pearce. Five-eighths.—Brydon and Martin. Half.—Gould. Rover.—Warmington. Forwards.—Hookers, Rika and Hemphill; second row, Hilliam, Fischer and Brady; back row, Downer and Jones. The difference in the team to that which met Kaipara last Saturday is that Hilliam and Downer replace Fernandez and Osborne in the forwards. At a meeting of the Northern Wairoa Rugby Union held last evening , a resolution was passed requiting the North Auckland Rugby Union to appoint an Auckland referee to tOJiliol the fixture.
