WIRELESS LICENSES.
IMPOSSIBLE TERMS. (Received 11.35 a.m.) LONDON, June 27. Presiding at the annual meeting of the Eastern Extension Telegraph Company, Sir John Pender said that the company had applied for a wireless license, but had to wait to ascertain Britain's declared policy before anything could be. done. The company had received the terms for a license affecting India, but it was absolutely impossible for the company to carry out these terms. Prolonged negotiations as regards China had proved abortive. —Reuter.
