Every young fellow in the place has a soft spot in his heart for the game, but no one carct? to take thj responsibility of starling n club. Mr Blackveii, who is a good sport, got them together on Saturday and stirred them up rntil they became quite enthusiastic and at once set out to look for a suitable ground on which to play, and whatever decision they came to il ended in a practice mat hon Mr Gilbert's property. It "was good to hear them shouting and to see the ball in play. Manv of them showed that they were not new to the game. The result was that a club is to be formed and a match, to be played nex„ Saturday. We are glad to see the boys of Ngunguru jre not milksops, butworthy sons of old identities, though they did take so.'iie rousing. We hope they will keep the ball movi'ig and play the game, so that by the end of the season they will ."lake :: name for the club second to no:ie. PERSONAL AND GENERAL, On Saturday Mr R.
