HIGH TRADITIONS. WILL BE MAINTAINED. TEAM EQUIVALENT TO 1905. WELLINGTON, This Day. Mr E. MaeKcnzic, representing the Management Committee on the Selection Committee, considers that fooi;ball as the selectors have seen it is satisfactory. After travelling through the Dominion he is of opinion fhat the play to-day compares favourably with that of 1905, more particularly as far as the forwards are concerned. He believes that the inside backs chosen will dispel.the idea that we have none. If Kugby has improved at Home it will have to be. improved relatively to dispose of our new team. The Selection Committee lias done good work, done it conscientiously and honestly, and is confident that the players will uphold the Dominion's high traditions. —Press Assn.
