England defeated "The Rest' ? at Nottingham by three wickets, the final position being as follows:— The Rest, Ist innings 295 The Rest, 2nd innings 199 England, Ist innings 279 England, 2nd innings (7 wickets) 226 In The Rest's second innings McBryan scored 59. Tate took four wickets for 39 runs and Parkin four for 56. Woolley scored 72 in England's second innings and Hendren 61 not out. —Reuter.
