Maiden Hack Race, of 110 sovs; Ave furlongs (all 9st)—New Moon 1, Polonett 2, Heathcrite 3. ' Many Colours, Larrikin, Hinemui, Crisis, Complimentary, Novoko, and lvingi Pita were .scratched. Won by a rose; length, between second and third horses; Time 3sc-c. Flying Handicap—Mosthenes 1, Barrier 2, Waipatu 3. All started.
