The decision to rescind proportional representation- as the method of electing city councillors was reaffirmed bynine votes to eight ;it a meeting of the Council last night.
At a previous meeting of the Council the 1110Hon was carried on tho ca<M> ing vote of the Deputy Mayor. Last, night the Mayor voted against proportional represcn!ation.—Pross Atsn.
