By nine votes to seven tho City C'ouncil decided to grant a bonus of %ur shillings weekly -from Juno ,25 to employees with five or more dependents.

Twelve men will have three -months' notice and two onf: month's notice, and men with over two years' service will receive n retiring allowance varying from three months to one month's pay.
