So intent were they upon a quarrel, that two dogs in a Napier street either did not hear or did not care about the approach of a tramcar (relates the "Daily Telegraph"). The tram picked up one animal, a large collie, and carried him along the street on tlie life saver. The yelping canine made himself scarce when the car pulled up, and was more frightened than hurt from his experience.
