About 3 o'clock this morning a fire

occurred in a block in Tutanekai Street owned by T.Woolliaxns. It gutted the shops of W. Hardie, draper, Mrs Galbraith, confectioner, and also Hardie's bulk store. The fire also damaged the

shops of R. G. Marsh, photographer,
