WALKER CUP TEAM. SAILS FOR ENGLAND NEW YORK, April 17. America's Walker Gplf Cup team sailed by the Mauretania to defend the titlb won last year. The team received a jolt at thai last minute by the receipt of a,wire that "Chick" Evans was unable to go to England owing to pressure of business. The team is captained by B. A. Gardner, vice-president of the United States Gclf Association, .and includes four lchampions—Jesse Sweetser, M. Herron, Francis Ouimet, atfd R. A. Gardner. The remaining members are Fred. J. Wright, O. F. Willing, Max R.. Marston, George Rotas, Harrison Johnston, Jack Neville and Gu>* Standfer.—A. and N.Z. ' •
