I FOR THIRTY-SIX HOURS. NEW RECORD CREATED. 'Received 10.30 a.m.) NEW YORK, April 18. At Dayton. Ohio, Lieutenants Maeready and Keleley, flying in a Fokker monoplane, set a new record for sustained flight of 36 hours 5 . minutes. The trial was made on a 31-mile course and a speed of 70 miles an hour was maintained.—A. and N.Z.
