AGAINST UNDUE FAMILIARITY. SIGNIFICANT REWARD OFFER. (Received 12.50 p.m.) LONDON, March 9. Advices from Dusseldorf state that the German Nationalist organisation at Witten offered a reward of 200,000 marks for every bunch of hair cut from the heads of women deemed to be too familiar with French Soldiers in the Ruhr. —A. and N.Z. EXECUTIONS IN THE RUHR. A CATEGORICAL DENIAL. CONFIRMED BY CORRESPONDENT (Received 9.35 (a.m.) LONDON, March 9. A Dusseldorf message says that M. Degoutte, the French Commissioner, denies categorically the allegations in regard to secret executions in the Ruhr. The "Daily Express' " correspondent is unable to verify a single allegation of French savagery. Three German civilians have been killed since January 15, each happening being duly 'officially, reported. —A. and N.Z. CHECKMATING MAGNATES. MARK TO BE STABILISED. COAL TAX MODIFIED. '

In order to guarantee the Allies against a further drop in marks and prevent the industrial magnates organising to delay payments in the hope of depreciation, the French have modified the Ruhr coal tax. The amount which is due will be translated into sound foreign currency values. —A. and N.Z.
