CHAMPIONSHIP SHIELD. WON BY WELLINGTON. WELLINGTON. This Day. In the Athletic Championship sports AVellington won ttlie shield with fi9J points. Wairarapa, which had a very strong team and was expected to push •Wellington hard, only scored 3SJ. Tracy, of Victoria College, was the filar performer of the day, winning the 100 yards, 220 yards and quarter mile xace. Ro~e, of Wairarapa, won the mile T:we in the good time of 4niin 25 2-osec.
