Hemp.—Manila market continues quiet. "J" grade, .Tanuarv-March shipment, quoted £39 per ton value. Xew Zealand still negleced. Quotations nominally unchanged.

Wool. —Sales continue with well maintained competition and occasional harder tendency, though prices show no quotable change. Xhis week B.A.W.R.A. offering consisted of: —Australian: Meriro, greasy, 9700 bales, scoured 3550 bales; crossbreds, greasy 4465 biVs, scoured, 1300 bales. Now Zealand: crossbreds, greasy 5300 Vales, scoured 900 bales, slipe 2000 bales. Sale of loth comprising 4540 bales, postponed until January 16, on account of fog.
