In consequence of the alterations in the railway and steamer services the following changes in the v closing of mails have been made at the Whangarei Post Office: — For Auckland and South: per Manaia, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, 7 p.m.; per Kjjnieri, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, according to tide. Offices on the Northern railway, and Russell: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, 6.40 a.m. and 2.40 p.m. Ohaeawai and Hokianga: . Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, 6.40 a.m. Kaikohe: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, 6.40 a.m. Eaxno and 'Hikurangi: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 12.30 p.m. Onerahi: Daily, 9 a.m. and 4.45 p.m. Mangapai, Oakleigh, Waiotira, Mareretu and Waikiekie: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8 p.m. Portland and Limestone: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 4.45 p.m. OUTGOING MAILS Mails close at Whangarci Post Office as follows:— , Friday, January 6, 11.30 a.m. For Fiji, Tonga, Samoa and Pago Prgo.'
