LEAP OVERBOARD.
AUSTRIAN CAUSES SENSATION. DARGAYILLE, This Day. : An Austrian named Basich jumped overboard from the dec'c of the steamer Tuirangi on the journey from villo to Dargaville, opposite Pouto, last night. Captain Yause, on the alarm being given, put the ship about and succeeded m getting Basich aboard again. A boat also put out from Pouto but its service was not required. Basich was banded over to relatives but will be dealt with by the police, who have gone out to get him.—Press A'-'Sii.
