; SECOND DAY. TEEJSTTHAM, This Day. For the concluding day of the Wellington Bacing Club's -winter meeting there is dull and threatening weather and the going'is heavy. Results: — Talavera Hurdles, of 300 .sovs; one mile and a half. —Dick, 10.9, 1; To Oro, ' 10.C, .2; Sir Agnes, 1013, 3. Simon, Hyttus, The Baronet and Hallow were scratched. Won by a length and a half; Sir Agnes four lengths away. Time—2min 56sec. Liverpool Handicap, of 350 sovs; six furlongs.—i Mustard Pot, 10.10, 1; Wcldonc. 9.0, 2; Dainty Step, 11.0, 3. Income was scratched. Won by a length: third horse 'three lengths away. Time — lmin 20see. Hack Steeplechase of 350 sovs; two miles and a half. —'Silent Diek, 10.8, 1; Malincourt, 9.7, 2; Chummy, 9.7, 3. All started. Won by eight lengths, with Chummy five lengths away.. Time— Jsmin 29sec. Crofton Handicap, of 300 sovs; one mile—HiaKowvoniia 1, Cantoris 2, Lady Lucullus 3. Lord Desmond was scratched.
