SOUTH AFRICAN ENVOYS. (Received 10 a.m.) CAPETOWN, May 26. General J. S. Smuts, Prime Minister, Sir Thomas Fmnrti, Minister of Agriculture, and Colonel H. Mentz, Minister of Defence, have sailed to attend the Imperial Conference. Owing to tlie absenee of Colonel Mcntz the Defence Bill has been dropped this session.—A. and N.Z.
