The extras were 13. Si evens took 3 wickets for 49; Robertson-Glasgow, 4 for 74; Blaikie, 1 for 40; Price, 1 for 70; Franklin, 0 for 19; Bettington, 0 for 29. ! (Oxford only lost one wicket for 174 in the second innings and ' the match was drawn. Bickmore was out for 19, Jardine not out 96 and Holdsworth not out 57; extras 2. Armstrong was the only bowler who got a wicket. The batsmen were on the defensive for some time and Armstrong resorted to quick changes without avail. Jardine and Holdsworth. both became aggressive, walked out fearlessly and hit the to the boundary. The second fifty only took &5 minutes. Jardine'e is the highest score so far against the Australians on this tour and was made without a chance. —A. and N.Z.
