THE WINTER SHOW.
I DAIRY PRODUCE SECTION Butter, eggs, hams and bacon will all be wanted to help to make the Whangarei Winter Show complete. These commodities form the important dairy produce section of the show, and the Whangarei district is well able to mak« this a large and attractive section.. Both separator and dairy butter are provided for in the schedule, one class being open to those who have not won a prize for butter at a Whangaral Winter Show and another class to girls under 16' years of'age. Thera are six classe 3 for eggs, two, which carry particularly Valuable prizes, I being for brown and white eggs, respectively, which are to be judged according to the New Zealand Poultry Association's standard. Old and new cheese can be shown in [separate clashes. Smoked and green j hams, smoked and green flitches of (bacon and rolled bacon, all homecured, are catered for. Those who are able to enter exhibits for the dairy produce section should have a look at the schedule, copies of which may be obtained from the secretary, Mr J. D. Horn, who i s to be found at telephone 281 during busines s hours and 202 D during the evening. Entries are to be sent to Mr W. A. Parker's office, Bank street, by 9 p.m. next Saturday.
