TAINED. • m&b 1 —— ■ .x On (Saturday some ijorty members of the Count Northern Wairoa motored to Whahgarei from Dargav.lle. to take part in an installation by the 1 'Court Victory, Ancient Order of Foresers, followed by a conversazione in the Band Room. Three candidates ■—two local and one visiting—were ' initiated into the order, after which the long and well-filled taibles were fully occupied, Chief 'Ranger Bro. Forth presiding. A well-chosen toast was honoured, beginning with „ "The King" and followed by "The' Court Northern Wairoa," proposed by 'P.OD.T. Bro- King and ably responded to by Bro- J. ißrady. "The Auckland District" was proposed by | Bro. Miller and acknowledged by P.D.T, Bro. King. "Kindred ! Societies," advanced by the Chief Ranger, was responded to by Bro. W. H. Hughes, U.A.0.D., Bro. Mogford, 1.0.0. F. (N-Z.), and Bro. TothiM, 1.0. O.F. (M-U.). •"Court Victory" (the hosts) was proposed by Bro. Brady, and,acknowledge by C.R. Bro. Forth, and ."The Press" was Entrusted to Bro. Flewel'yn. During the evening musical' items were contributed by ißros. Brady, Campbell, King, Nankelow, Messrs Fu'ljames and 0. P. Owen and an instrumental quartette by members of the Whsngarei Municipal Silver Band.
