Mr Josephus Daniels, Navy Secretary, in 'his statement does not favour an agreement between Britain Japan and the United States for limiting naval armaments.
Coincident with the publication of Mr Daniels , ship-fbuilding recommen da'tions reports are current that pro minent Republicans will urge Senator Harding to reach an agreement with Britain and Japan to suspend naval /building - for five years.—A. and N.Z.
