ANZAC MEMORIAL.
AT LONE PINE
MINISTER RECEIVES PLANS,
WELLINGTON ,This Day.
The Minister of Defence, has received plans of the memorial to the Anzacs who fell on Gallipoli, to be erected at Lone Pine,. the scene of what was the most determined and bloodiest fight on the whole Peninsula. In connection with the memorial there is to be a small chapel, marble paved, and a record room. Cypress and olive trees are to be planted aboutit. —Press Assn.
