ONERAHI REGATTA.
THE SHIPPING ABBANGEMENTS.
SMALL CONCESSIONS,
(Special to "Advocate.")
AUCKIiAND, This Day, This morning Mr Alexander, and the associated representatives of four Auckland rowing clubs again interviewed the manager of the Northern Steamship Company regarding the shipping arrangements for the regatta. The deputation gaid that about 130 men were going to Onerahi on Kmr Year's Day and asked for a reduction of fares and a late boat. , Mr Sanson said that the best he could do would be to reduce the fares of legitimate rowers to, £2 and the faxes of coxswains to £1 10s. If there were too many passengers for the Manaia he would try to put a small boat on, leaving Onerahi on the Sunday morning.
