AUCKLAND, This Day. Teh trial of Samuel Thorne, charged with the murder of Sidney Eyre, was ■continued to-day. Constable Wiolf endale deposed that he iand Detective iMcHugh searched the district for twenty miles from Eyre's farm and examined 1303 horses, including 418 which were shod. None "of the shoes were like those on Mickey, which were hand-made shoes. —Press Assn. •
