REVOLUTION THE REAL AIM
(Received 10.35 a.m.)
PARIS, Oct. 18
The newspapers contain .grave comments on the action of (the 'English miners. The "Echo de Paris" considers that the strike "has been undertaken more with revolutionary intentipns than a desire for higher ■wages. If (the Labour movement in England does not resume its old traditions Britain cannot longer play the part in Europe that we look to her to play."
Tihe "Figaro" says: "It is only too certain that the miners will deal a i»low at their own interests as well as ttooae of Britain and Europe."—A. and N.Z.
