FAR-PETOHED RUMOURS. SHOT AND PUMMELLED. PARIS, June 21. Following upon tiie recent rumour that the Kaiser was in bad health ithe Paris "Tribune" says that it is reported that a German crossed the frontier near Dooring, in Holland, where the Kaiser is interned, climbed the wall of the castle, and fired several shots <at the Kaiser. Another story is to the effect that ■a disguised Belgian labourer on the (pretext of repairing waterpipes, concealed himself in a corridor and battered the Kaiser with a club until the guards rescued him. The Kaiser's secretary declines to admit the truth of either of these stories. —Reuter.
