The City Council hats agreed to the committee's proposal) to pay the enginedrivers 3/6 per day increase. This ends the portion of the strike affected by the electricity supply.
The factory enginedrivers and gas -workers are still out, although the prospects of settlement are regarded as encouraging.—A. and N.Z-
