FIASCO THREATENED

DELHI, June 16,
An attempt is being made in India to prevent the Prince of Wales visiting this country at- the end of the present
year. Extremist politicians, who regard the Hunter Commission's findings with disfavour and strongly urge modification of the Turkish peace terms, threaten that unless their demands are granted they will make the visit of the Prince a fiasco.
The India Home Rule League has cabled the Secretary of State that the welcome to the Prince is doubtful, unless the present situation is relieved — A. and N.Z.
