A RESTOCKING RUSH
SYDNEY, Juno 15.
For many months the Homebush stock market, has ben overcrowded with stock frdm. the drought-stricken areas. Among other oil'crings were many thousand breeding ewes and young wethers, which were sold at sacrifice prices. With the coming of Tain, however, the position has completely altered. There is a great demand for restocking purposes, and this has caused prices to soar, md has largely depleted the market for the mutton supply. In a lesser degree the cattle market has been similarly affected.—A. and N.Z,
