(Received S a.m.)
NEW YORK, June 16.
The "New York World's" Chicago correspondent says thf.ro is considerable belief in Republican oi reins that Mr Harding may make a unique appeal to the American doctorate by naming tho Cabinet which he will appoint, if elected. Thus the people will know who will compose the Government. The Republican lenders are considering the following Cabinet appointments, which the people will be likely to receive favourably:—Senator Root or Senator Knox for the Secretaryship of State; Mr Hughes, Attorney-General; Mr Frank A. Vandcrlap, Secretary to the Treasury; General Wood, Secretary of War; ex-Senator Weeks, Secretary of Navy; Mr Hoover, Secretary of Commerce. —A. and N.Z.
