The Broken Hill strike round table conference ended without reaching a settlement, the parties disagreeing on the question of hours.
A meeting of Broken Hill strikers adopted a resolution demanding an increase under the Workmen's Compensation Act, to the full earning capacity, for the victims of the industry.—-A. and N.Z.
