WESTFIELD STOCK SALES

Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having held their usual weekly sale of fat stock at Westfield on Wednesday last. Beef: A heavy yarding. Extra prime ox, £2 14/; prime, £2 13/ to £2 10/; ordinary, £2 3/ to £2 5/; cow, prime, £2 8/ to £2 10/; ordinary, £2 2 to £2 8/. .Sheep: Prime wethers, £1 12/ to £1 15/; good, 30/ to 31/; ordinary, 25/ to ;50/; ewes, prime, to 30/; ordinary, 22/ to 28/. Veal: A heavy yarding, and prices eased considerably. Runners, £3 10/ to £5 10/; suckers, 20/ to 30/; young calves, 7/ to 15/.

Pork: A good yarding. Baconers, £5 to £7; choppers, £6 to £8 4/; porkers, £4 to £5 10/; weaners, 15/ to 22/6

Lamb: Large yarding. Prime to 30/; good, 23/ to 27/; others, 15/ to 20/. HIDES, SKINS, ETC. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report, having held their weekly sale of hides, etc., on Tuesday last. At Tuesdady's sale there was keen competition among' exporters for all Jines not taken by 1 miners, and prices were frequently 3d per lb over schedule rates. Rabbit Bkins: There is a good demand at prices ranging from 2/ per lb to 4/ for well-saved lots.
