THE GAINSBOROUGH.
FIRST ANNIVERSARY,
The "Gainsborough," Bank Street, has certainly made rapid progress since it fell into the capable hands of Mrs J. W. Mclntyre, who twelve months ago took over the popular establishment from Misses Murray and Blakey. The new proprietress has had a very wide experience, covering some sixteen years. Of this period, six years were spent with the wellknown firm of Messrs Kircaldie and Staines, Wellington. Prior to coming north to Whangarei, Mrs Mclntyre was in charge of F. W. Burley's show-room in Hamilton for a of three years. At the "Gainsborough" ladies will receive every attention, Mrs Mclntyre having taken care that she has an excellent staff to attend to her customers. The latest in millinery, costumes, blouses hosiery and lingerie, are stocked. Mrs Mclntyre only stocks reliable goods.
