It i s announced by her last will that Dr. Edith Huntly left her es.. tate (with small exceptions) to the Wellington Hospital Board, for the purpose of establishing a maternity ward in connection with the hospital, for the purpose of "promoting research into the means of lessening the pain and peril of childbirth."
