PURSUANT to section 9 of the "Local Bodies Loans Act 1913" its Amendments and Regulations made thereunder, the Body Corporate, known as the Whangarei County Council, hereby gives notice that it proposes to engage in the following undertaking in the Special Rating Area known as the Hikurangi No. 2 Special Loan Area in the Hikurangi Riding and North-East corner part of the Otonga Riding. (a) 1. Formation, construction, and metalling of roads within the said Special Loan area £5050 2. Repayment of existing loan Hikurangi No. 1 Loan.... £950 (approx.) ( (lb) That the sum proposed to be borrowed for the above pur pose is £6000 for 36J years 1 at a maximum rate of interest of (54) five and one quar- : ter per centum per annum. (c) The proposed security and '. provision for the repayment of the above sum is a Special Rate of Two pence (2d) in the pound on the Unimproved Value of the said Special Rating Area as shown by Special Roll previously advertised for public inspection.
