THE CAUSE SUGGESTED

The Alliance disaster will be officially investigated by the Air Ministry, Officials visited the scene to-day.
The present theory is that the machine developed a spin in the mist and that the pilot discovered it too late to prevent the crash. The speed indicator showed a speed of 157 miles. —A. aDd N.Z.
