PURSUANT to section 9 of the Local Bodies Loans Act 1913, its Amendments and Regulations made thereunder, ithe B,ody Corporate known as the Whangarei County Council hereby gives notice that it proposes to engage in the following undertaking in the Special Rating Area known as the MANGAPAI TO CAVES SPECIAL LOAN AREA in the Mangapai Riding, (a) Formation, constructing and metalling the Mangapai to Caves Road; (b) That the sum proposed to b e borrowed for the above purpose is £2000 for 36J years at a maximum rate of interest of (54) five and one-quarter per centum per annum. (c) The proposed security and provision for the repayment of the above sum is a special rate of two pence and one-eighth (2_d) in the pound on the unimproved value of the Special Rating Area as shown by Special Roll previously advertised for public inspection. (d) it is proposed to pay the costs of raising the Loan and the first year's interest out of the Loan H. C. HEMPHILL, County Clerk.
